About the Band...

Bill and Bobbie have been professional musicians/performers/entertainers since 1982. They have been working together since 1985. Playing with 5-6 piece bands from 1982 to 1989, they toured primarily the Northwestern US, Alaska and Western Canada. Delivering solid performances of Pop, Contemporary & Classic Rock, Heavy Metal and Top 40 they're versatility became noted and widely requested by agents, clubs and patrons alike. Bill & Bobbie's previous groups included; Golden Rule, Rapid Fire, Sector Red, Phase 3, First Offense, Picture This and Skin Tight.

As the face of the music industry began to change in the late '80s, the two quickly adapted. Modifying their approach, they replaced the drummer, bass player and guitarist with modern technology. The advent of the computer sequencer, etc. gave them the ability to enhance the show dramatically, improve the sound, broaden the song list to include nearly all styles of music and make themselves much more marketable as well as mobile.

With their new found freedom musically, their passion for the music, performance and the road, they set about touring further. During the period from1989-1993, Bill & Bobbie performed in 27 US States, four Provinces in Canada and seven other countries including Korea, Japan, Okinawa, Guam, The Philippines, The Marshall Islands and the British Indian Ocean Territories. They were retained for extended stays in several venues so they became well versed in keeping the show fresh and entertaining.

They returned home to Spokane WA in 1994 due to Bill's parents ailing health. From '94 until 2000 they performed locally as the house band in several area hot spots. During this time they opened a Commercial Recording Studio and purchased a musical instrument store. If that wasn't enough to keep them busy, they had their first daughter Mandy in 1994 and then Cassidy, their second, in 1996.

The duo decided to take a break from local clubs in 2000 and so quit playing professionally. However their love for entertaining would not allow them to sit idle. Bobbie started a children's performance arts group focusing on teaching youth singing, dancing, acting and performance skills mentoring more than 60 aspiring performers in roughly 2 years. Bill, of course, assisted. In 2003 they became heavily involved in the music department at their church and from 2004 til 2007 were the Directors of the Children's Music Department.

The family moved to the Keys in October of 2007. They started playing Friday & Saturday nights at the Outback Steakhouse Tiki Bar in January '08 and did for nearly two years. During that time they added a third night becoming the Monday Night Band at Lorelei and still are there every Monday along with Michael Trixx. They've become well known in the Upper Keys with locals and tourists alike as "The Family Band".

It's a family concern, with all four members contributing equal shares of enthusiasm, skills and talent to make Daft Like Jack unlike anything you've seen or booked!
